Hotel Near Shangrila Hotel Bangkok

Dear all, need your help, we will be attending seminar on Shangrila hotel for 4days, but too expensive if staying there.

So does anyone know 4* and 3* hotel which is near to Shangrila Hotel....

FYI Shangrila Hotel Bangkok address is Soi Wat Suan Plu, Newroad, Bangrak, Bangkok.....

check out ';Bossotel Inn '; it is next to shangrila on same street 2 blocks. I have stayed there twice .

I stay in the Centre Point Silom which is one block behind the Shangri-la. Its serviced apartments and they do studios, one and two bedroom apartments. All have kitchens, washing machines etc. The hotel has a small restaurant, pool etc. Its really very nice and a good price - we paid 3150bt per night for a one bed apartment- studios much cheaper. I think that%26#39;s about the same as the bossotel and I think its much nicer. Its above the Robinson deparment store so supermarkets etc are just downstairs.

Check out their own website but the best price I found for the one bed was from AtSiam.com You may get it cheaper elsewhere for studios. Only drawback I find with serviced apartments it that they do charge you credit card with a sizable deposit when you check in -unlike hotels that just take a copy of the card. However it was not actually charged to our card - ie cancelled immediately we check out.

I agree with Bossotel. It is very close, looks clean, is much cheaper and has one of the best reflexology places in town.
