My darn departure flight got changed a day (blessing in disguise)and now I need to find nice hotel near the Airport???:) Or, would it just be best to be closer to the City since it will be New Years Eve. Also, we are getting married in Chiang Mai a few weeks before that, so this will be our last night in beautiful Thailand. Any ideas and thoughts would be most helpful. Thanks!!!
Nice Hotel near new Bangkok Airport
Deffinately syat in the city, somehwere nice on the river would be nice, marriott resort is great if still on honeymoon, the last place you would weant to be NY Eve is some hotel near an airport, the Novotel right at the airport is expensive and the other like the Novotel Bangna is about 25 minutes away anyhow.
Stay in the city and enjoy New Year ! I would get the concierge to book you transport to the airport if it%26#39;s early morning flight as taxis could be very scarce on new year%26#39;s morning !

Thanks for the insight. We are flying into Bangkok from Samui around 2:00 pm on 12/31 and don%26#39;t have to fly out until 8:00 the following night, so this may work well. A couple Questions: 1) how long is the Marriott from the new airport, 2) is this an area that would be fun on New Year%26#39;s?
