honeymoon and things to do

Hi,

We will be staying at the Sarojin hotel, this december for our honeymoon. We will be staying there for 10 days, so I was trying to get a few tips on what can we do while we are there? I was thinking of going for an ATM ride and scuba diving, and definately visiting the Phuket zoo. Any romantic getaways you anyone can advise?

Thanks in advance.

honeymoon and things to do

Hi there,

my husband and i spent our honeymoon in phuket earlier this year. it was fantastic. We did a day trip into phang nga bay - picked up early from our resort and got back around dinner time. it was a james bond island trip with kayaking that we did and the kayaking was awesome - air kayak thinkgs which you jump on with a guide and you just sit and relax while they paddle away. also had the best feed for lunch from our entire holiday. we booked this at the airport in bangkok as we left to fly to phuket. also went to fantasea which was cool and got a free tour of the island - which took us some cool places but was a tour of we take you places you spend money...... but they didn%26#39;t force you to buy anything.

Thanks alot for the information. Any contact details of who organizes that? or shall I just try my luck at the bangkok airport?

elvie4ek,

I know you have posted on another thread, but I really think you should have a look at www.khaolaklovers.com and www.mykhaolak.de for tours and excursions around Khao Lak rather than in Phuket, which after all is an hour an a half away from where you are staying at the Sarojin. Yes, Phuket has it%26#39;s attractions, but so too does Khao Lak - more natural and uncommercialised in many respect. For instance there are National Parks North and South of Khao Lak and there is the Asia Safari and Elephant Village in Khao Lak as opposed to or as well as Phuket Zoo.

See http://www.limestonelaketours.com/index.html for details of some Eco Tours.

Phang Nga Bay is a couple of hours drive away and the Sea Canoes not to be missed (especially the Hongs by Night). Have a look at phuketdir.com/johngrayseacanoe/index.htm for information.

If someone recommends a romantic getaway, let me know - we are returning to Le Meidien for our 38th Wedding Anniversary. The romance is still alive! LOL
