We are flying with Etihad into Bangkok from the UK in 2007. This will be the first time with them so can anyone give an up to date view on what we should expect?
Thankyou

HI
I am also flying with them January 2007 i have been told they are very good all seats have there own tv screens with good choice of films and games to keep you occupied. i think the leg room is 32';.
i am flying into dubai with around a two hour stop over.

I use them regularly when I visit the UK.
I always make sure I have a stopover of about two hours each way in Abu Dhabi. The terminal is modern and small, you usually only have to walk a couple of gates to change plane. The terminal has the usual type of shops, a self service restaurant etc. They accept Thai and I assume other currencies, so don%26#39;t worry about getting the local dosh.
The short stopover is ideal to stretch legs, and their aircraft are modern.
Staff are reasonably friendly too.
I forgot to mention also that unless they have changed it, their baggage allowance is 30 kilos!
\i%26#39;m off to bkk with them in December and was surprised to see on my ticket a 30k baggage allowance as standard
Thanks you lot - appreciated
Have flown with them the last 3 years to Bangkok. For the price no complaints but the ifa%26#39;s aren%26#39;t the friendliest in the world and they always seem to have several seats where the ';telly'; doesn%26#39;t work!
Food is O.K but the drinks don%26#39;t exactly flow. After your meal you have to go to the stewards to get a drink of any kind.
One word of warning , we travel with our teenage daughter who we always make sure is quite well covered up for the stop in Abu Dhabi but it doesn%26#39;t stop a lot of the intense interest going on in her!!
