Will the shops in bangkok be open on the Kings birthday as I understand it is a public holiday
Kings birthdayThe bigger shops and malls will be open
but the bars and entertainment areas may be closed notice closer to the day will be known but assume closed in Bangkok
Schools government offices will be closed.
Kings birthdayThanks for that info .We have an early morning flight to Phuket on the 6th so we will be able to have an early night without feeling we have missed out

Sorry took so long to reply we will be in Bangkok at the same time as you . There is four of us really looking forward to it as our friends son is working in Bangkok at the moment so we will be able to catch up with him . Bangkok in Dec is very colourful with all the xmas lights and decorations looking foreward to doing some xmas shopping there

Thanks for the offer, but due to our friends son living in Bangkok we have got all our days planned. We have also done all of the tours over the many years that we have been going to Bangkok . I hope you really enjoy yourselves as i can see you are really excited about going to Thailand. have a safe trip
