Hello All,

we will be arriving BKK early Dec and staying at The Oriental. We are thinking of getting the hotel to send someone to pick us up the moment we get off the plane and take us through etc.

Question: Is it worth it?

I don%26#39;t know how much the Oriental charge you but I assume it is very costly.

You can find a taxi to get ther with no problem at the airport. There is a taxi stand at the 1st floor of the terminal or you can take an airport limousine which cost is around 900 Baht.

Hotel pickups are just not worth it unless you have so much money your not bothered in which case why not take the helecopter service.

Seriouly Meter Taxi should cost about 350 - 400 Baht.

1st floor and join the Q (not too long) and gone within a few minutes of getting out of the airport.

PS go down one floor from arrivals BEFORE exiting the building
