Can someone recommend a hotel in this area. Looking for an affordable hotel in sukhumvit area. Does not have to be fancy. Just clean, safe, and comfortable. ~1500-2500Baht nite.

I like the Regency Park on Soi 22. It is about 40 USD per night. I have stayed there numerous times and have reservations for January.

I%26#39;m paying about THB1800 per night at the Bel-Aire Princess. I got this rate through a travel agent and it includes breakfast, late checkout and an upgrade (which I have confirmed).

Regency Park is a good choice - stayed there many times myself. Vic is the manager and is quite helpful if you need anything. Queens Park beer garden is a good place to start the night.

I would like to recommand you Hotel Grand Business Inn located in sukhumvit soi 11 just few steps to Nana BTS sky train. The price is just THB1380 per room per night including American breafast.

It it clean,safe and confortable. But now the hotel is doing some extention so at the day time it might be some noise..

Xin23, what is the Grand Business Inn%26#39;s economy hotel like... the one at 155/4-5 Sukhumvit Soi 11? The price for the triple seems very reasonable (on their website), and they claim that it, like the Grand Business Hotel, is just a minute%26#39;s walk from the Nana Skytrain Station. I would be grateful to hear your appraisal, as the Grand Business Inn is outside our budget (we are a family of two adfults and two children -- one already a teenager -- so we need a fairly big room).

Not in the Sukhumvit area but still a great location nonetheless - in the Silom area, right next to the Shangri-La is the Bossotel Inn. Highly recommend it! Can%26#39;t say enough good things about it. Gonna post my review soon.
