Tubkaak - Krabi 3,4 or 5 star?

I have recently booked a trip to the tubkaak in february 07 and am a little concerned that different websites seem to rate the hotel very differently. Can anyone advise what is the actual star rating at the Tubkaak?

I doubt if the star system is regulated over there - but no doubt some-one will put me right! If you put the likes of Rayavadee and Sarojin as 5 star, then the Tubkaak will be 4+. It%26#39;s got all the facilities but it%26#39;s simpler, and very Thai. Don%26#39;t worry about it! It%26#39;s a fabulous hotel!

Yes, it is classed as a 4* but in my opinion better than most 5* hotels we have stayed in. It is smaller with less facilities, i.e Gym and nightclub. There is only a small bar area and a small shop but the rest of the resort makes up for it. The hotel is on the best beach in the area and the staff are fantastic.
