Is the Patong Merlin noisy at night?
Hi, It is not noisy at all but if you are lucky enough to have a balcony overlooking the pool in buildings 4,5,or 6 you will be able to hear or see the band that plays at night.
This is my favourite time of night, my wife and I usually come in at about 10pm at night and spend a couple of hours on the balcony listening to the band.
You%26#39;s are obviously a lot younger than us and may only be starting your night at 10pm.
I loved the PhiPhi island tour and the snorkelling that go%26#39;s with it, also hire a car and driver for the day and pick your own itinery.
That way you can spend as much time as you want in your selected places.
My favourite restaurant is the islander in Soi Patong Resort off of Bangla Rd, excellent value and great menu.
It%26#39;s nice but not fancy and as I said great value.
Congratulations on your wedding and have a brilliant honeymoon in the land of smiles. Regards..
Thank you both very much for your feedback!
Recently stayed at the Patong Merlin and had a great time! Very central location and great pools!! No noise heard by us and we stayed towards the street end of the hotel... Congrats on the wedding - we are travelling to Thailand again for our honeymoon in Feb... Have a great trip!
Thank you....going by the reviews the Patong Merlin sounds like a great hotel, I can%26#39;t wait to go! congratulations on your wedding as well, hope you have a great time!
