Hi there... I have some enqiries to check with those who have been to Memorial Bridge Night Market and Bo-Be market.
1)Have any of you taken a cab to Memorial Bridge NM from Asia Bangkok Hotel? Was it worth going and how much was the cab fare?
2)And is it true Bo-Be market is near to Chinatown area? How long is the journey? Am I suppose to shop at a open-air market environment or in a building call Bo-Be towers?
Can anyone advice? Hope to hear some views and comments on this soon. Thank you for your attention...
Memorial Bridge Night Market %26amp; Bo-Be Market
Hi
If you mean Saphan Buddhayodfa bridge near the flower market, the cost may be around 100+ depending on the traffic.
For the Bo Be market, it%26#39;s not near China town. Actually, it is close to Asia hotel, the taxi costs will be less than 50 Baht.
There are both open-air and air cond. building like in the Pratunam area.
Good luck
Celine
Memorial Bridge Night Market %26amp; Bo-Be Market
Hi Celine
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
Yes I was talking about Phra Buddhayodfa bridge market. And I realise if the cab fare is more than 100 baht, then it should be quite a distance from Asia Hotel. So in your personal opinion, is this night market worth the time to go since I%26#39;ll be in bkk for 3D2N? What can I expect from there? Do ppl go there mainly for shopping, eating or for the scenery? Care to share your views?
Secondly, in your opinion, which place which I visit first? Bo-be or chinatown. I hve planned for this 2 places on the last day of my trip so would want to save time on the travelling part.. would appreciate if you can advice on this too.
Lastly, I%26#39;ll be goin to suan lum night bazaar on my 2nd night, would you be able to advice me on the location of this pet shop call Dogs %26amp; Cats while I am there? I hve heard their pet stuff are gd thus I would like to pay their shop a visit.
Once again thank you for taking your time to reply. Hope to hear from you soon
Hi
Saphanbudha bridge night market is a local marekt so if you want to have an experience what locals see and do, it is worth to go there. There are new and second handed things sold in this area: T-shirt, jeans etc. Mostly they sell cloths. It is a big different from Suan Lum night market because it is a local market and of course the price is cheaper!
I suggest you go to China town first and then go the Bo Be market because the Bo Be is close to your hotel and it%26#39;s air-cond. building so it%26#39;s better to go in the afternoon.
I am sorry that I do not know about the pet shop that you said.
Good luck and enjoy your stay in BKK

Hi Celine
Once again thank you for taking the time to reply.
Can I check with you on the condition of Chatuchak market currently?
Just recently the newspaper in my country reported some of the stalls in CTC were destroyed. Would you happen to know which sections are affected? Is there a temporary place for those affected to carry on with their business?
Hope to hear from you and wish you a good day ahead! Thanks :)

Hi Celine
Thank you so much for your prompt reply!
BTW is Boots pharmacy the only place where i can hunt for good and affordable skincare products? Would you be able to recommend other places where I can shop for good and affordable skincare and cosmetic products?
Thank you for your time taken to help me on the above queries. Hope to hear from you soon.
Cheerio :)
There is another chain store called Watson, you can check it out too. It is located in many shopping centres. There is one in Siam Square too.
Cheers
Celine
