Malaria

Hi,

I%26#39;m going to be on Koh Chang for 5 days, do I need to take anti-malarials and if so what type? I am very lazy when it comes to insect repellant so if there is any risk at all I need to be protected!

You won%26#39;t need anti-malarial tablets but like anywhere in the tropics, unless you are one of those very lucky people that are not affected by mossie bites (mossies bite everybody but with a wide variety of effects) take mossie repellant spray, roll-on whatever for dusk/early evening or near stagnant water and use the electric machines with tabs in your room at night. Stay bite free even if they are not malaria carrying mossies. Bites can become infected with serious consequences also.
