Hi I am comin 2 phuket this week and want 2 know if there is a reputable pplace in karon/kata to buy dvds from, as i want to buy around one hundred. Or am i better goin 2 kittys in patong. Also am I able to give a list to the shop owner and come back later on?

Hi Caity, We buy our DVDs every year from Tommy. He has a stall next to the Oyster bar across the road from the Kata beach resort. We had a list which we left with him 2 days later we went back %26amp; 150 DVDs where ready for us. If you do use him tell him he was recommended by ';meet the fockers'; from Australia.. His wife also has a shop opposite the bank at Kata behind the lady selling the thai silk cushion covers,she sells clothes %26amp; shoes %26amp; can also help you out with the DVDs. Hi Caity, We paid 70baht a copy %26amp; there were extras thrown in because we bought so many. We know that we can get them for 60 baht if we wanted but in the 4 years we have been dealing with Tommy %26amp; his beautiful wife we have never had a dud. CJ
