Going next Tuesday

Hi Guys,

Am off to Koh Samui next Tuesday (so excited!) Just wondering if anyone is there at the minute what is the weather like? Everything is so unpredicatable at the minute (especially any forecasts on the net!!!!)

Going next Tuesday

There is quitea bit of rain around, but that is not unusual. November/early December sees the most precipitation. Hope that does%26#39;nt ';dampen'; your excitement! You may be o.k. -the weather here, as everywhere in the world really, gets more and more unpredictable. I believe the new buzz word is ';Global Dimming';, rather then g,warming.

Going next Tuesday

Ttravelled back from samui last thursday. This time of year is the monsoon seaqson - its really not as bad as it sounds! We stayed there for 11 nights and it was a mixture of sunshine and showers. There was only one day that the rain lasted all day. The rest of the time there were the occasional showers which lasted for an hour, if that. During our visit we took an island tour via boat and just as we headed out we got caught in a monsoon! Within minutes we were surrounded by clouds,heavy rain and thunder and lightening- i was scared at first but then found it quite exciting!!!! Again, it only lasted for about an hour and as the day progressed the weather just got better and better - i highly recommend doing this day trip - hope you have a great time like we did

Thanks for that - so excited now and i am sure a little rain will not interfere with our holiday - we are staying at the Sala Samui so it will give us an excuse to stay in the hotel for a while if it does rain!
