has any one stayed at the sunset beach resort, we carnt get the cheap flights so we might have to down grade from the merlin,or what about club andaman beach resort, thanks jenny

Jenny, Arent you going in June or July?? if so there will be more cheap flights, just had an email from Singpaore Airlines and their next round of flights are coming out in January, so should be some specials then.

Club Andaman is the best of the 3. (my opinion only of course)

hi cathy, yes we are going july in the school holidays. got a good price at patong resort with breakfast and up grade. so i think i will book it later today. dont want to leave it incase we miss out with flights later. we stayed here last year, and got about the same deal but this time 2 extra days. I think we will find some shopping to do. jenny

we stayed at the Sunset last october and will be going back to stay there again this december (so excited!)

we like the sunset because it is clean, cheap and we like being a little bit away from the craziness of patong. The pool is huge and beautiful and the staff are lovely. It is simple but the beds are huge and the bathrooms are nice with separate bath and shower.

Just depends on what you%26#39;re after i guess - if you like being really close to the action then it%26#39;s probably not the ideal place for you.

at any rate - have a ball!

hi karen, thanks for that. I have booked the patong resort as the kids know were everything is there shopping and rest. but we will go and check out the sunset and a few others while we are there.for next time. jenny
