My wife and i returned from Phuket 4 weeks ago this was our second trip but will not be the last,as with most people who visit this most beautiful place it certainly has a long lasting and profound effect .My question is this, ';how can we possibly be expected to adjust to reallity upon our return ?'; Phuket ,unforgettable.

Hello Paul1968
I have to agree with Andy53 and the best way to recover from your ';Phuket Adventure'; is to start planning the next one.

Hi Paul,
Been there, done that ;-) ... And Cathy from Adelaide too.
Like what Richard has said, the solution is to start planning for your next trip. Come join us in the 1st week of June! We%26#39;re gonna have lots of fun with Richard. Really looking forward to the pole-climbing ;-p Hahaz!
Hi
I know just how you feel,we also got back about 4 weeks ago and con not or is dont want to get back into every day life.
I think everybody is right so we have started looking at going back next sep, along way away but its something to look forward to.
Just do it again and have fun.
I 100% agree!!!! There is something about Thailand that once you are home you miss it so much. I am just planning my 3rd trip within the space of 2 years. I have done Samui which I loved, Phuket which was great and am now planning Krabi. Im so excited, I cant wait to stay in Thailand again.
What is it that drags us back? Is it the people, the food, the beaches, the weather, the scenery??? Best holidays ever!
Oh, the post Phuket blues, they can be very depressing. As said concentrate on your next visit, doesent cure but it helps a wee bit.
Also keep looking at all the photo%26#39;s that you have taken, helps with a couple of cold beers, brings the memories back.
Hang in there mate.........................
It has to be one of the most addictive places on earth. I think it%26#39;s the whole tropical vibe, coupled with the Thais%26#39; laidback attitude and Buddhist philosophy, plus the fact that you just don%26#39;t see people getting stressed out and stroppy like I do in London all the time. They really do need to chill, and Thailand%26#39;s the best place to do this!
just booked ours today, the 6th july. kids are counting the months, and saving there pocket money.they are already talking about were we will go for our fist meal. may be sweets or may be sabai sabai.and those drinks by the pool after a long hard day of shopping.carnt wait. jenny
ya, i have been there 3time this year... will be there again in a month times...... as i just came back from last month...... counting down again.........
I%26#39;m a known ';Thailand addict'; by all my friends. Like Claire and all the rest, I simply just love Thailand to bits! My travel pattern used to be Brisbane, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Paris, Frankfurt etc. But in recent years, with the mushrooming of budget carriers, I%26#39;ve found to my delight that I seem to be doing Phuket, Bangkok, Bangkok, Phuket, Bangkok, Phuket ... at times, with Kuala Lumpur in the midst of the pattern.
I love the Thai people the most - their warmth, their sincerity and those smiles ... Can%26#39;t wait for my next trip to Bangkok!
