Heading over to Phuket Dec 27th, and the majority of our group would like to experience the John Grey Starlight tour. Myself and a friend and not too keen on the ocean, so was wondering whether it is possible to stay onboard the boat whilst the rest of our party heads out on the canoes ? If so, are there facilities on the boat so we can entertain ourselves with a good book and a cocktail ? Also, will the life jackets accomodate small children, 5 yr old, or should we take our own ? Thanks in advance.
Sea Canoe's - not too keen
Hello Nelson11
The boat is 24 meters long with 2 decks and you will have lots of room to loung about but coctails are out of the question as thankfully this is a dry boat.
Lifejackets for kids are no problem and I,m sure once you cruise out to the Hongs you will want to join the main tour when you realize how hastle free it is. Hope this info helps with your planning the day out and regards from Phuket.

Thanks for the info Richard.
Actually when I think about it I understand why it is a %26#39;dry%26#39; boat and that is fantastic. They obviously take safety seriously which is good to hear. I may change my mind, but if I don%26#39;t lounging about on the deck is not a bad option either.
