Hello!
I have read about the track from CKBR. Has anyone tried the pathway with children? I%26#39;m concerned about what exactly can happen, if someone looses the balance or falls down? Is it safe to try? My boys are 5 and 8. We are going there for Xmas.
I would be grateful for advice!
Central Krabi Bay Resort - track suitable for children??
Hi,
Whilst I haven%26#39;t stayed at the resort (booked for December) I have been following reports and posts on the CKBR and in all honesty the pathway does not sound very safe for children. I would be concerned about taking children of 5 and 8 over it.

Central Krabi Bay Resort - track suitable for children??
Hi Sarah,
Thanks very much for your information!
I have been reading that kind of advice too, that%26#39;s why I would like to know, what exactly is the danger in that ladder. Because the boys are surprisingly good in balancing and climbing (they do it better than me, anyway). Have you read anywhere, if there is a danger to fall off the cliff or something like that? I have only seen one picture of the track, and it didn%26#39;t look that dangerous to me, but the picture can, of course, be deceitful.

hi
we were at the ckbr recently. my kids aged 7 and 9 managed the track, but it%26#39;s not something i would want them to do again.
if you%26#39;re interested, i posted a message about ckbr some days ago. hopefully you%26#39;ll find out what you need there. if you want photos, i do have some of the track. just let me know what you need!
Hi,
Yes, I have read everything here about CKBR ;) Thank you all for sharing the information with the rest of us!
If you would be kind enough to send me or upload on the net pictures of the hotel, surroundings or the pathway, I would be very grateful! In fact, I would be interested in any pictures you have of Krabi. My address is minka.zotow@hotmail.com
Thank you very much!

Hi Minka
i will try to send the photos to you by e-mail because i%26#39;m not very good at uploading photos onto the internet!
i also have photos of the floating jetty, if you want them, as well as the boat and the reception area at ao nang
Hi again!
Thanks very much! I%26#39;m interested in all of those photos!
Minka
The track is like a stair made of wooden steps (if nothing is changed since last March). It might be a tough walk for a 5 year old child, and some places the distance between the steps can be too long for such small feets, so you will have to lift the child from one step to another. I don`t think you can carry the child on your shoulder in case you loose your balance. But if you always are one step lower than the children and are two adults helping them, I`am sure you will be safe.
We didn`t go with children, but we saw many families walking between Pai Plong (CKBR) and Ao Nang. Walk slowly and be aware of lose steps. It is a great view from the top!
Thank you for this detailed description! We are two adults and there shouldn%26#39;t be any hurry, so I think we are going to try it, at least. For the view, if nothing else!
