Honey inn is a really old hotel, Sawasdee court, on the same street of the Honey inn, is about 400-600 bahts and member of the Sawasdee group.

I recommend also this site, because there is a detailled map of Pattata, road by road, with ALL the businesses house by house ... very usefull !

www.pattayacity.com/pattaya/pmap

ive read some real bad reports concerning the penthouse, a few years back i admit--including cockroach problems , and it being generally run down and unclean-- unless its changed now--

check this thread out todder regarding the penthouse

also join the board ,its exellant

mention andy 50 reccomended you , post in the neubie section first

theres a pattaya section there also --

I have to admit it was years ago also when I was there. No problems then.

But I like to play American pool... And liked to spent some time in the Sugar Shack playing the local girls; fun ! (They were good ! But Hey! Isn%26#39;t it worth a drink to be beaten by them :-))) On the pool table I mean...

Maybe the LE could comment on it%26#39;s state now ?

Try any of the Sawasdee chain of hotels the one in soi Boukhao is OK 450 bht per night, the one in soi Diana is cheeper but doesn%26#39;t have a pool, also there is the Skaw Beach hotel for about 650 which is the one I would reccomend for the money, or the Diana Inn which is a bit noisy at night in some of the rooms.

The Honey Inn is located on ';Soi Honey Inn,'; about a five to eight minute walk to Soi 8. This is the soi I usually stay on when I am back in Pattaya.

I%26#39;ve used the Honey Inn several times in the past, I use their coffee shop restaurant sometimes too. The hotel has gone through a fix up re-painting phase. New tile and some of the old furniture replaced. Friendly staff, saw a sign just a couple months ago saying they are or will be WIFI capable. They have accesss to a pool. Security box available at the front desk. Within walking distance of the Mike Mall and many nearby bars.

On this same ';Soi Honey Inn'; street you will find the Intown Holiday Hotel and the Bay Breeze Hotel, both slightly better (and more expensive) than the Honey Inn.

All three hotels have air, TV, hot water and private toilet/showers. The Bay Breeze and Intown Holiday have bathtubs too. The Honey Inn has a few rooms with tubs but most of the rooms are showers only.

Have a look at Eastiny Inn its in Soi 8 I think.I have stayed there a few times,Clean,Modern,Great Pool. Only 800 baht including breakfast.

Queens Hotel on Pattaya Klang (next road along from Soi 7) is not bad. It%26#39;s directly opposite TOPS supermarket.

All the hotels in this area will be noisy as you want to stay in the rowdiest area of the city.

I can%26#39;t remember the price, but 800 Baht seems to come to mind.

They have different prices for different floors.

Call them on +66 38 429915.

Wherever you stay ask for a QUIET room.

Bear in mind that you are going in high season - so get booking!
