Hello Again,
In my little tourist book I have come across Monk offerings shortly after dawn. I know that as a female I can not offer anything, but I would like to see this happen. Does anyone know where this happens, and if so what is a good time to get there so you do not miss this. Thank you for your help.

Monk Offering, Where?Hi Ashely
Woman can offer food and things to monks. If the monk carry his bowl you can put food into this bowl but please be careful of touching his body or even his robe. If the monk does not carry the bowl, he will put his little towel or any piece of cloth in front of you and you will put your food or things on that cloth. Then the monk can receive things from you.
One of the royal temple is located in the heart of the city named %26#39;Pratumwanaram%26#39; temple. It is in the middle of Paragon and Central World Plaza. You can get a sky train to Siam center station and walk down to the direction of Sukhumvit.
I think you should be there at 6 am. I am not sure. I have been there for food offering once long time ago. However. it is good to check out this temple. You will be amazed and could not believe that there is a quiet place in the middle of the town. Thai people go there to do their meditation.
Enjoy,
Celine
Monk Offering, Where?Yes you can offer to Monks and Celine is correct just be careful about not touching. Ms Excitd, I wish all the visitors to Thailand were as sensitive and eager to understand as you are. Best wishes.

Thank you both for the information and kind words. Could you tell me the roads that the temple is on? I am having a hard time finding it on my small map. Also, if I do offer some type of food, what do I offer? Thanks again for your help.
This is something I am interested in doing or seeing as well, is this temple the only place to go in Bangkok to see it? Does it also take place at other temples throughout Thailand?
