Taxi or transfers from Airport to Patong

My accomodation is able to provide transfers for 700 baht from airport to Patong but need a credit card.

My problem is that I don%26#39;t really want to use my credit card in Thailand, does anyone know of other solutions and is this a fair price?

I took a metered cab from airport to Patong and it cost me 400 baht.

Definitely go with the metered cabs. If you walk out of the arrival terminal, walk to the right and there will be a stand for the metered cabs. There%26#39;s a small surcharge, but it%26#39;s still quite cheap.
